Welcome to my photography Blog!

Hi there! My name is Bharat and I am a wedding and portrait photographer from Auckland, New Zealand, who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms and families in New Zealand, Australia and Africa.

This blog follows my professional life, and features business and educational information for current and potential clients, some personal blurb, and images from a) the weddings and portraits I shoot, b) wedding album and portrait album layouts I design and c) digitally painted images I create through my art and photography knowledge on latest technology.

It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for the visitors. This site is a little informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am, and what I am all about.

When I am not shooting wedding and portraits, I work with images to enhance and restore including making some dramatic changes, under the umbrella of PhotoDoctor. (www.photodoctor.co.nz). More recently I have moved onto digital painting of portraits - a unique product line in NZ. Stay tuned to see some examples.

Thanks for visiting.

tech talk about this blog…

My aim is to show you highlights of Jenny and Neil’s wedding day with around 40 images.  As can be expected, professional photographers’ blogs would have large number of photographs. So they are best viewed on broadband internet connection.

However, keeping in mind of the need of faster download, I have spent many many hours (in fact it has been several days!)  in search and experiment of finding the best solution to keep each page file size as small as possible.

The result:  I have divided these set of image of Jenny and Neil, into several separate blog entries. Plus only 1 entry is viewable per page.

Please keep in mind, with standard 56k modem connection, these pages may take between 60 and 120 seconds.

My apologies to those who find this inconvenient.  Please know, each blog entry has been kept as small as possible especially when it contain images.

I have posted the blogs in reverse order, so that when you read.. it is easier to follow the progression of the day, as you would be seeing the last post first and then go back to previous posts.
